Going Tubing!

The DC Lambda Squares is going tubing on Antietam Creek in West Virginia (near Harper's Ferry, WV) this coming Saturday, July 29, 10 AM to 4 PM. We had a blast last year and I'm looking forward to bobbing down the creek again this weekend.

We will be meeting at Manidokan Campground in Maryland Saturday morning at 10 AM.

All are welcome to join us... I'll answer any questions I can.

The event is being run from River & Trail Outfitters... they'll be providing the tubes & life jackets (if desired), bus transport to the launching point, transport from the ending point and a lunch in the middle of it all. They have change rooms at their base so we don't have to wear wet clothes home, and a shop for additional last-minute items.

I think the total cost was about $40/person, but my memory is a little fuzzy since I wrote the check for our portion a couple of months ago.

However hope that you and Kent will be at Roseland over Labor Day weekend - housemate and I will be camping in a tent...
