bjarvisThe Chesapeake Squares is hosting an open house tonight at the Waxter Center (Cathedral & Eager Streets in downtown Baltimore), 8-10 PM, Tuesdays July 18 & 25. Everything you wanted to know about country & western dancing but were afraid to ask!
No prior dance experience required!
No dance partner required!
No dress code!
No commitment required, although I'm sure you'll find it so much fun that you'll be back for more!
Refreshments will be served. All are welcome!

Date: 2006-07-18 01:26 pm (UTC)Actually, if y'all are dancing in this heat, even in air conditioning, I'd recommend shorts rather than long pants. Cool cotton clothing, and several extra t-shirts for changing into when a dancer gets all hot and sweaty. Polyester should be banned liked asbestos!

Date: 2006-07-18 02:46 pm (UTC)Kent & I are leading the intro to square dancing portion, Don will be line dancing portion. There will be two-stepping during the breaks for those who are interested but I don't believe there are plans to offer instruction in that tonight.
