Lacking Internet access during the convention, I simply wrote my usual LJ entries into a text file for later posting. They're now in my blog, backdated to the appropriate interval. Insert repeat rant about $10/day Internet here. Grrrr.

I've finished labelling, sorting and posting my photos of the convention. Whew!

In all, I've posted 178 photos from the family visit in Portland prior to the convenion, 78 photos of our trip to Disneyland and 311 photos of the convention proper. There are actually many more photos on my hard drive but they're mostly flawed or duplicate images. As expected, my Mac exploded when I attempted to import them to iPhoto... I really need a much larger hard drive.

Click appropriately:

Click on the thumbnail to see the medium-sized photo. If you'd like a copy of the original JPEG at full size (900kb to 1.2 Mb in size), let me know and I'll send it in e-mail.

I got about 90% of the names, but if you see any errors or can help fill in some blanks, please let me know! Thanks!

Do you do any dancing? They should hire you with all those terrific shots that you manage to get. I'll go and steal some when I have more time. And maybe even get mine posted at some point. X&Y are Greg (bendoutdoors) and Darin. I think Ray is an early X at caller's school. I think it's Mick from Atlanta, and not Mitch.

[livejournal.com profile] apparentparadox updated me on Greg & Darin. Yup, it's definitely Mick, not Mitch... not sure what I was thinking at the time. Thanks for reminding me of Ray though: I wouldn't have recalled that on my own. Updates should now be propagated!

I'd love to know how you do everything so fast -- I'm still struggling with my 200+ shots. Thannks for the hard work. Lots of good blackmail material in here. :)

You seemed a little punchy on the last day. Oh, and I noticed the "Curtis Ready" photo; hmmmmm....

[private thanks for the good picture of Juan, of whom I have very few photos.]

That's the guy in here (http://www.office-assist.com/~jarvis/iagsdc2006/iagsdc2006-Pages/Image165.html) and here (http://www.office-assist.com/~jarvis/iagsdc2006/iagsdc2006-Pages/Image107.html), right? It seems whenever he was within camera range, he never had his badge. :-)

Man, that Forrester/(insert Kent's mother's maiden name here) gene is really strong. The older they all get, the more they look like their parents.

page 2, at the bottom, "Mark, Ron, Brian and Pam" should read "Mark, TOM, Brian and Pam". He's also from CCCD.

Sweet! Thanks for posting these! I thought I had forgotten to pack my own camera for the trip, only to find it tucked neatly away in a back pocket of my laptop bag when I got home. Go figure! :)

Doh! I'm glad I was using a digital camera this year rather than chemical film in prior years... it was nice to be able to snap bazillions of photos, then delete the ones which didn't work.

you know, on the disneyland pix pages, 'mouse ears 03' doesn't actually show ears. Did you put the photographer up to this charming -um- cheek-to-cheek study? or was it spontaneous?

Steve C. took the photo... he said at the time that he wanted a second shot of our names stitched into the back of the ear hats. We didn't find out what he was really photographing until later. All is forgive though since any of us would have done the same. :-)
