After this morning's server misadventure, I stayed at the office until some time close to 4 PM, catching up on projects neglected over the past week. When I reached a comfortable level of victory over chaos, I headed home and took a nap.

Two hours later, in the middle of a rather erotic dream set in northern Ontario involving tdjohnsn & rlegters, the telephone rings. It's otterpop58. My immediate thoughts were I must still be dreaming and Thank you, God!

"Guess who I'm with," he says.
"Dunno... which side of the continent are you on currently?"
"Here, let me put him on... Hey there! Guess who I ran into!"

Yes, our trailer co-owners, Jerry & David, were vacationing in Fort Lauderdale this weekend. They hadn't met Andy before but Jerry recognized him from my web site photos.

Cue "It's a Small, Small World."

Jerry, that tramp. (That is of course what I like most about him.) I had thought I might get to see him again this fall, as I did last fall when the Radio City "Christmas Across America" show rehearsed in Columbus. Word was that they were going to use the facility in Columbus again even though the show will perform somewhere else instead... but now the latest intelligence is that we'll rehearse in Myrtle Beach. So no Columbus, and no Jerry visit. :-( Or maybe that's a GOOD thing... that boy can be DISTRACTING...!!

went to bri's webpage (which I go to regularly) and then I noticed the link for the first time

I wll get used to this I guess...have no choice..I just need to read Bri's journal so I know what he is saying about me ;-)

PS only got to talk to Andy (otterpop) briefly on Fri....nothing more (sniff sniff) just FYI to set the record strait..
