Chugging Along

bjarvisMy cold continues to fade. My sinuses are nearly clear and while my energy level was nil last night, it's almost back to normal today. This time tomorrow, this should all be an unpleasant memory.

cuyahogarvr and I had gone to Arlington for C1 dancing but I was crashing half-way through (physically: our square crashed many times without my assistance prior). There were enough spare dancers that we were able to leave without impacting the floor.
This morning, I incorporated feedback into the minutes of the DC Diamond Circulate committee meeting I circulated yesterday morning. I've also spent some time double-checking the budget figures for the fun badge tour --all appears to be in order-- and preparing a list of talking points for our report to the IAGSDC delegates at the upcoming Cleveland convention.
Tonight,cuyahogarvr, kent4str and I are getting together with a visiting friend who is also on next year's Chicago convention committee for a dinner meeting. We'll raise a glass to billeyler on his birthday before pigging out.
So far, we have nothing scheduled for Friday although there's a possibility of a C1 square dance workshop. Saturday, we're calling in the Baltimore pride parade with the Chesapeake Squares --I hope it doesn't start raining half-way through like DC's last Saturday-- and we're spending Sunday 9 AM to 6 PM at the Baltimore festival in Druid Hill park.
