Alas, our last full day in Vancouver is wrapping up.

[livejournal.com profile] kent4str and I attended the closing banquet of the Unison 2006 festival this evening; it was nice to see a lot of old chorus friends from across Canada. I'm looking forward to seeing more of them on the cruise on English Bay tomorrow.

Monday late afternoon, [livejournal.com profile] kent4str, [livejournal.com profile] rlegters and [livejournal.com profile] tdjohnsn and I will be stuffing our possessions into the car and heading for Seattle. We have an 11 PM flight out of SEA, arriving back in the greater DC area in the morning. Needless to say, I really don't want to go... we've had a wonderful time in Seattle & Vancouver and the return to work in the next couple of days will be a painful transition.

I have a tonne of photos to post, but those will have to wait a little while. With a little luck, I might have Internet access at the airport before boarding the plane.

More news as it develops.

It's a fun city. I'm not sure I could ever be comfortable enough to make it home, but there's areas of Burnaby and North Vancouver still to be explored. In any case, it's a lovely place to visit.
