A Better Day

bjarvisYesterday, I went to work on three hours of sleep. I spent most of the day on the edge, ready to kill the next person who dared trespass into my cube with some petty issue like global warming or nuclear war. A couple of miscreants did make the mistake of talking to me, but they were quickly dispatched. I left the bodies on open display as a warning to all others. It worked for the balance of the day.
While I could have used an additional two hours of sleep this morning, I am well rested and have had a fairly productive morning so far. The rest of the day is stacked with meetings so I'm not overly optimistic for the balance of the day but we'll see how it goes.
