Oh, it was, despite having to call in expert help when the CD player wouldn't work (fortunately the "expert" happened to be just down the street having dinner, and his expertise consisted mostly in his suddenly remembering that there was another CD player in the church basement), and not having quite as many folks as we had hoped (which has been happening a lot lately). Christine calls lovely dances, many of them unfamiliar to me (the double-progression dance was a shade too unfamiliar to everyone present, but never mind that), and a good time was had by all.
