The Kia Soul has actually been pretty good for me. It is classified as a compact: the wheel base is the same as Kia's other compact cars and it is smaller than the other compacts in the "compact only" area of the hotel parking garage. The only thing which separates it from the others is that it is significantly taller with much more head room.
I've been driving Kent's minivans for years so I find navigating with the Soul to be a breeze. It even handles better than my Honda Civic.
