There was an emergency code release last night. Since I was on-call, I was getting alerts & updates every 60-90 minutes from midnight until 4am.
I then got an emergency call at 6am because of one of our DNS servers died overnight. After a quick dash to the data center, we resurrected the beast --a switch failure as it turned out-- and I headed for home. Within five minutes of the house, however, the problem reared its head again and I Had to double-back to the data center where I am at the moment. Such fun.
