None of these were an issue when I bought the phone in October, up until about June or so. The dropping of signal doesn't happen at home, New Jersey, New York City, West Virginia or Virginia, but does happen when I'm in the Bay area. Unless the Bionic has some sort of GPS awareness that it's supposed to function at a fraction of its usual reliability when in California, I'm betting it's the network.
