I'm glad you're getting out and seeing/doing stuff. You've mentioned your fast-food eating, but what about your dinners? Also, have you tried the street food? It can sometimes be a wee dodgy, but it's often REALLY good (I'm a sucker for kati rolls in particular).
I do hope you share your pics with us when you get back. I'm interested in seeing what you saw (it's been about 5+ years since I've been in South Asia, but Bill goes 3-4 times a year).
