The creek itself was a bit of a challenge. The heavy storms over the week prior had muddied the water with sediment a little, but also caused a number of trees to fall into the creek itself. The current occasionally dragged me through and/or under a half-submerged tree unless I could see it coming soon enough to paddle out of the way. A few of the nastier scratches are still healing, but it was worth it.
