I'm not sure what additional fallout there may have been. It was probably discussed outside of earshot of the kids (eg. me) or in subtle terms which the five year old version of me didn't understand.
I don't think anyone was charged. I know no one went to jail... I'd remember that. Frederick never rebuilt his house; I don't know whatever became of him.
I suppose I could ask Mom. "Hey Mom, remember back 30 years ago when one or more of your friends committed arson? As a potential material witness and possibly even an accomplice, could you fill me in on some details?" She probably would... after all, there are worse stories from our quiet little community.
