I generally work on the principle of being ready for any traffic pattern that others seem to prefer. I think I prefer the star. Cross trail can get rather crowded in that setup. I don't know that there's anything written down about traffic patters for those. Check with the CALLERLAB Challenge Committee - the Chairman is calling in St. Louis and will be home on Wednesday.
