1) You forgot to mention that when the heavens opened up I was about 1 1/2 blocks away getting food. I came hurrying back to be sure you found the tarps and was quite completely soggy by the time I got there. I was still damp, if not dripping, when we got home some three hours later.
2) My favorite part was that one time I was calling (during a singing call) I noticed a camera crew filming me and the dancers. Afterwards I went up to them to see who they were (and maybe milk a little publicity out of them). Turns out it was AARP - it seems I, and our group in general, fit their demographic better than many around that day. How depressing - I don't qualify for membership for another few months!
