I haven't lived on the east coast for over 20 years so I don't really remember. Are big storms with over 50 cm of snow any kind of normal in DC and the urbs?
I can remember living in Maine during my growing up years it was sort of "normal" that we'd get walloped by at least a couple storms during the season so bad that kids didn't go to school or that classes would be canceled at UofM.
