the big news here in Hogtown this morning is Michael Bryant, former provincial Attorney-General, is under arrest for an incident yesterday evening in which a cyclist and a driver of a big-expensive-convertible had an altercation, apparently involving raised voices. Then the driver of the convertible drove all over Bloor St (between Bay and Avenue Rd) with the cyclist clinging on. the vehicle mounted the curb, cyclist broadsided a mailbox and died of head injuries 3hr later. The driver scarpered, but has been arrested.
