anything resembling a fit would always lead to a simple turn around to go back home, with the explanation that certain behaviors are expected in public, and a justified and sufficient punishment was about to be given. PLUS PLUS PLUS...it is not fair to THE CHILDREN to expect them to be quiet, still and peaceful while strapped into a cart for the length of time the average shopping trip takes. Good grief, they're kids. Leave them home...or freakin sedate them.
