Another C2 Class Done

bjarvisWe had a stumbling start to the evening. It wasn't a big deal but John was just back from calling on the west coast, a lot of dancers seemed tired or out of sorts and we were short enough bodies to complete a third square. The warm-up tips weren't pretty but we started getting back into things again by the midway point of the class.
This week's new calls were all fairly simple: "cut the galaxy," "flip the galaxy" and "shazam." Drilling those as well as reviewing the new(ish) calls from the past two weeks went faster and better than I expected. In fact, the last two tips went swimmingly.
Dancing will be light this week and I have no calling gigs. As much as possible, I intend to take this extra time to rest and relax.
