The IAGSDC web site will list someone as "No Affiliation" unless they explicitly select a club, even if they have a club in their profile. It was a design decision to allow people with multiple club memberships to select their preferred association for a given event, but it does have the side effect of exaggerating the unaffiliated count. I can fix these for the people I know but the SF Bay area dancers are beyond my ability to reconcile.
The web site also marks everyone as female by default; there are a number of guys who would be surprised by their sudden sex change in the records, although I've cleaned up most of those.
As for more larger numbers of Wilde Bunch folks than one might expect, I see this for some other clubs as well. I'm guessing some folks still think of themselves as belonging to a club even if their membership has long since lapsed.
