It's xmas eve and I am so glad I'm not anywhere near a shopping mall right now.

My shopping was largely done weeks ago, save for a few stocking stuffers. The gifts are wrapped & under the tree; the stocking items are primed & ready for rapid deployment in a suitably sneaky fashion some time late tonight/early tomorrow.

My dear hubby is being a seasonably appropriate tease about what he's giving me. This either means that it's something faaaabulous (like chocolate or a contract on my parents) or he hasn't figured it out yet because he still needs to do last minute shopping. My money would be on the latter if I had any left. Ah, the magic of xmas.

jearbear65oh & hubby David telephoned a couple of hours ago to say that they were thinking of us, bless their furry little hearts. Mom called too, relaying that their bank extends their holiday greetings to me. Being full of xmas cheer^TM, I didn't tell her to bite me but I did think it very loudly. I'm sure Kent can buff my finger indentations out of the telephone handset eventually.

I suppose I should go make myself useful cleaning up the place for our guest, but I'd rather surf the net for porn. Decisions, decisions.
