I'd find someone with a data service on their phone. You can use that to update registration info. Those services are now pretty cheap, with some plans including everything including EVDO for $99 a month (though I'm not necessarily suggesting the convention spring for an account, which probably has a two year minimum. There just seem to be a lot of people with this access already). I think that's what happened for some people who were tabling last year at convention. Of course, with a little juggling, the EVDO connection could be extended via a laptop to a WiFi router... :-)
