A compromise... we'll turn xmas into a celebration of your birth. We'll decorate Tim trees, sing carols praising your name, distribute presents in celebration of your birth, etc..
Of course, the downside is that your funeral will be a bit of an ugly affair and we'll expect you to come back from the dead after three days.
