We had a lovely tour of their new house on the outskirts of Cincinnati, then drove a back towards the city for lunch.
By mid-afternoon, we were heading back to collect Maurita for a promised shopping excursion. After loading up with household goods for her new apartment, skipped over to Biggs for some gluten-free groceries --they have a bigger selection than we typically see in DC-- and Michael's for some ceramic paint --and a special surprise gift for Jeff M. in DC.
Dinner was a little backwards: we had ice cream sundaes at a local ice cream parlour, then settled in back at Maurita's apartment for a while before digging into the leftover turkey. A delicious time was had by all.
