Because our paths only cross at events where I'm on duty in some fashion and therefore *can't* dance. *sigh*
I attend the IAGSDC convention and approximately six fly-ins each year... I have organizational or managerial responsibilities to some degree at all but one. Fortunately, it's just the conventions and DCLS' own two flyins which prevent dancing opportunities.
Some days I think it's a wonder I don't drink heavily.
