Quite true. I was thinking in terms of the fly-ins I attend without fail every year: DC's Harper's Ferry Hoedown runs about 115-130 dancers, whereas Baltimore's Pass The Ocean Hon runs around 250. Philadelphia's is somewhere in between, although Cleveland's is somewhere around 100 (I think). Other fly-ins I've attended periodically do tend to be smaller (50-100 dancers).
