Miscellaneous Little Things

kent4str gave me some years ago needed a new battery; it now works. :-)
Last night,cuyahogarvr and I danced Advanced with John Marshall and the Phantom 8s. As expected, we had a fun time dancing and I tried very hard to remember as many little choreographic tricks as I could. Chatting with John & Mary is always a hoot and I'm sure he'll do well as incoming Callerlab chair beginning next Wednesday.
Comcast has pissed offkent4str once too often. Now that they're switching Cartoon Network to their digital line-up, we either had to upgrade our Comcast service (already $65/month) or toss them overboard to go with a satellite service. The satellites won: we're going with Dish Network. We have an installation appointment for next Thursday.
Our Harper's Ferry Hoedown venue nightmare may soon be over. We have a candidate site selected in the general area of the last venue, has wood dance floors and reasonable rental charges. The search committee seems to be in agreement so now it's a matter of getting a contract. More news when it happens.
