Did I Miss the Memo?

The office is a ghost town today. I appear to be the only person in the east wing of my floor currently, alone in 100+ cubes. Was there a bomb scare that no one told me about?

Perhaps I'm the only person who liked the results of yesterday's performace review news.

is it possible your boss failed to tell you during the performance reviews that they were SO pleased with your efficiency (witness all this time to write LJ entries) that you're inheriting the workload of all the other people on the floor??

it is strangely quiet here after reviews as well. Thankfully most of the accounting crew is still over in accounting while i am on special project, so i dont have to hear the "unfair" , and "thats not right" bitchiness which i am assured has occurred. the "PEACE" room sometimes is downright hair pulling out frustrating. Me, and seven women and a male supervisor who detaches himself from everything that is said in the room.

sigh. is it 417 yet?

I think they're all out celebrating the State of the Union. Down here next to the White House (literally!) it's awfully quiet, too.
