Watching Toronto Being Blown Up

Sitting around the house, we caught "Resident Evil: Apocalypse" on the SciFi Channel.

I hadn't seen it before but was delighted to see so much of Toronto.

That it was overrun with zombies, shot up by goons and blown up with a 5 kiloton nuke... not so much. Still, it was a fun flick.

don't worry. Mother Nature took care of all of them.

it's -15C / -24C windchill at I type this. all the aliens and zombies are all frozen and gone.

(wasn't it the common cold that killed off the invading Martians in HG Wells' War of the Worlds??)

It's gonna be a bitch when the zombies thaw in the spring. Ah, well... lots of time to evacuate the uninfected.

no PROBLEM -- they freeze solid, they fall over, they shatter. the bits get swept up with the snow removal.

the trick will be not freezing myself when I emerge to go to work tomorrow morning. Hibernation is looking more and more attractive every day.
