whatever colour it is, kent, clearly it distresses him, so do him a kindness: confiscate the shirt once it's been through the laundry and give it to charity. once it's out of the house, it won't be an occasion for fashion faux-pas (or self-righteous gloating problems with saint-like forbearance with lights) in future.
