It was nice to sleep in a little this morning before heading off to square dancing with Puddletown this afternoon. I'll write more later but suffice it to say that I had a delightful time chatting & schmoozing even though I didn't dance a step this afternoon.

I also spent an hour in the mid-afternoon war driving the neighbourhood around the dance hall to find an open wireless connection. Once located --thank you, Ken, for leaving your wireless unsecured-- I was able to check us in on our Southwest flights for tomorrow (and yes, we will be in the A corral).

After the close of square dancing around 4:30 PM, we helped clean up the hall, then sat chez [livejournal.com profile] rlegters and [livejournal.com profile] tdjohnsn for a while before heading to La Spiga for dinner with friends.

Alas, [livejournal.com profile] bigmacbear & hubby were unable to make it; [livejournal.com profile] ramsjb was missed too. We'll have to catch up another time. Still, we got to have a fantastic meal with Beth and Stephan, longtime friends of mine from high school and 1st year university respectively. I do miss seeing them regularly.

As 10 PM approached, we said our respective goodbyes and dropped [livejournal.com profile] rlegters and [livejournal.com profile] tdjohnsn back at their house. We're now back in our hotel room, [livejournal.com profile] kent4str reading and [livejournal.com profile] cuyahogarvr already completely dead to the world in bed. I think I'll join him.
