Date: 2007-10-12 02:52 pm (UTC)hereabouts it was 30C on Thanksgiving Day, yesterday evening it was 8C showery and windy as I was coming home. I fished my gloves out of my coat pocket & put 'em on - first time this season.
you may be interested to know it's snowing in Timmins right now.
oh yes - apropos of the election, not the weather - Toronto-Danforth (I think this is where John and Chris live - it runs from the Don River to Coxwell) elected an NDP with 45% of the vote. The liberal got 30%, the tories and the greens 11% each. Fifth came the Libertarian candidate, Mark Scott, with 321 votes. I wouldn't have known this person from that name, but he was Polkaroo on Polka-Dot Door for years. Politics just gets everywhere, y'know?

Date: 2007-10-12 03:43 pm (UTC)Please send us some of that cool weather. We expect to have 90 degree weather for at least another two weeks. Good dark German Chocolate could be yours if we get cooler weather in the next few days.
Sincerely,
The in-law of choice stuck in New Mexico
