Ahhhhh

I'm finally active again after nearly 11 solid hours of sleep. I haven't been this rested in, well, a very long time. It's almost a pity to have to work at all, but I'm telecommuting through the morning to tackle some timely issues and sit on some conference calls.

This afternoon, I'm heading into downtown DC for a routine medical checkup and to drop off my passport replacement papers with the embassy.

Seems like we swapped the "good night's" sleep. Last night was a toss and turn night for me. I even threw the cat out of the bed because she was so restless she was getting on my nerves. Ugh!

I did slip into the center guestroom around 4 AM 'cause a certain someone was snoring. He wasn't too loud but I was sleeping lightly enough at that point that it had an impact. Once I relocated, all was well for the balance of the morning.

For some strange reason, Cassie Cat needed to rub against my FACE every time I rolled over - even jumping over my head to get to theside of the bed that I was facing. After the third time she did this, I not so delicately pushed her off the bed. She groused all the way down the hall. She must not have been too bent out of shape though because when I did wake up, she was comfortably curled in a ball at the foot of the bed - far away from my face.

it's one thing to be a nerd and love your techno-toys, but sleeping with it? when you have kent to snuggle with? that's just plain bizzzzzzzarrrrre.
