All of last week, gasoline prices near my office were $3.039 per gallon. Fortunately, I didn't need to fill up at that time.
Yesterday, I noticed it was $2.939 and there was enough bird crap on the roof of my car to affect its aerodynamics so I topped off the tank and washed off the worst of it.
This morning, the price has jumped to $2.999. I'm sure the rate increase has nothing to do with the approaching weekend...

Date: 2007-07-12 02:02 pm (UTC)Gasoline prices go up on Thursday and drop Monday nights, especially Memorial Day thu Labour Day. It's most likely been that way since cars were on the road. One more reason why I like the idea of alternate fuel sources for vehicles.
