You should keep a dream diary. I think you are very expressive in your unconscious mind, of what is going on in your life...<given the dream the other week about the electrical shorting out, reflecting the night Warren collapsed>...
if you write down the dream, AND have a little paragraph titled "Possible source" and then another paragraph titled "My Interpretation" you can look back and see things that didn't occur to you at the time. I used to do that years ago, and it was AMAZING to look back at the diary years after the dreams happened. Of course, now in this era of LJ, you are writing down the dreams. Just stick in the next parts... "what prompted this" and "what it means to me" and things will fall into place.
