bjarvisAll is quiet at Roseland, WV, tonight. Kent has a fire burning and we're watching the stars with an occasional satellite zipping across the sky as we digest a dinner of grilled burgers.
The campgrounds are nearly close to empty right now: there are perhaps a dozen seasonal campers on site with a handful of nonseasonals in tent campers or small trailers. The silence is delightful, although the swimming pool area seems pitifully lonely now that it's deserted & closed for the season.
The leaves are only starting to change colour and the nights are cool. I'm looking forward to sleeping snuggled up to Kent under heavy quilts and blankets.
