Brain: when I turned 40, a man whom I respected enormously but who was very shy, emerged from the woodwork to visit our house and give me a lovely gift from Japan. He was a Jesuit priest, and later moved away, but I will never forget that. I hope you understand from the people around you that you are loved more than you realize.
