I liked naps when I was well below 40 years of age. I recall my kindergarten report card mentioning that I frequently preferred to nap rather than interact with the other kids.
Naps are definitely critical when one's bed partner snores like a freight train. Alas, I had too much sugar to sleep restfully so every little snort & squeak was keeping me awake.
