I confess (and jwg confesses too, whether he likes it or not) that we didn't take our seasonal tree, along with its lights, down until January 17, and in years long past have kept it up until sometime in February. But that's in the privacy of our home, at least (although I suppose a nosy sharp observer in the apartment building opposite might notice).
