On My Way!
Jan. 30th, 2012 01:54 pmI'm on my way to Bangalore.
I swapped a dead hard drive in the storage array on my way to the airport. My cell phone is going insane with automated alerts thanks to a networking issue at the office, but there's nothing i can do for that here.
Check-in with Air France would have been faster if the two women in front of me didn't have two trolleys loaded with bags --each! At least security was quick --I opted for the cancer booth rather than the groping 'cause it was faster.
I had lunch at Five Guys Burgers, so my arteries are probably as stiff as a board now. Possibly my last taste of beef in two weeks. :-) It was a half-mile further down the concourse than I estimated so at least I got a good walk in before my flight.
I'm now waiting at gate A20. Dulles has free wifi which is why I love them more than ice cream right now. Best of all, I scored a seat next to an electrical outlet so I can ensure my toys have a full charge before the first hop, a six hour flight to Paris.
