Things are looking vastly better than yesterday's ugly debacle.

I set my alarm for earlier than usual so I could join the massed hoards on their morning commute to work. My plan was to be ensconced at the data center before 9am EST, the usual time when hell is unleashed our delightful customers begin their day. And it worked.

There were several small tasks to do at the data center, but each required my physical presence to complete them. With one exception, I have completed all of my scheduled tasks. I was surprised that my new network switches arrived today; unfortunately, the shipping & receiving guys took an early lunch so I can't claim my new toys until they return. Still, getting these new devices installed today will put me ahead of schedule.

Since I'm stalled waiting for other people to do their stuff, I'm going to do a little shopping. Be back soon!
