Headquarters, Day 3
May. 20th, 2009 08:32 pmLordy, it's been a long day. And it's going to get longer.
I was at the office for 9 AM per usual. The morning had a flurry of minor tasks, none especially difficult mercifully.
Lou Ceci drove up from Mountain View for lunch. I would have loved to have spent more time chatting and catching up since we last talked, but my afternoon was loaded with meetings and he had errands to run. I'll have to set aside a larger block of time when I'm next in California.
At the moment, I'm in the office, nibbling on pizza and waiting for a 9 PM start time for tonight's code deployment. I believe the bulk of everything is fully staged and ready for deployment; in another 30 minutes, we'll see precisely how prepared --or not-- I really am.
Addendum, 1:30 AM: All is done and I'm heading back to my hotel room. G'nite.
