More Home Office Additions
Mar. 7th, 2009 04:22 pmWork continues to demand things which, well, I've never needed previously.
My smaller 14" monitors were adequate for all of my home projects but yesterday's code deployment made clear that I needed more screen real estate. Fortunately, there was a computer flea market in Laurel, MD, this weekend...
For $180 USD, here's a photo of my new 22" flat panel monitor, connected to the netbook I bought in January for work, taken with the Crackberry Storm I bought in February for work... Sensing a pattern here?

In other news, I finally figured out how to null out the settings in my old Jabra BT130 bluetooth earpiece so I could bond it with the Crackberry. Yay! And the extra ethernet cables I ordered for the data center should be arriving early next week.
I still need to get the wireless telephone headset working fully with the data center telephone --it's an earmuff style set so I can hear over the roar of the servers. I also need extra power cables which will let me plug new toys into the power strips of our server racks. There's always something.
March is question month. Got a question for me? Leave it here (screened).
