All Quiet on the Home Front
Dec. 30th, 2008 10:40 amI haven't written much lately 'cause there hasn't been much to write. The past few days have been blissfully calm.
My big excitement was picking up a 320 GB disk off eBay Sunday evening (should be delivered any time now) and a 500 GB disk at MicroCenter yesterday. The 320 GB disk is destined to upgrade my iMac as the contents of iPhoto and iTunes are severely overwhelming the older 60 GB disk.
The new 500 GB disk is currently being used to upgrade the 80 GB disk in my older XP box. Partition Magic has partitioned & formatted the disk; the partition copy operation is still in progress. Once it's done, I'll be able to consolidate all of the data into a single location once again. Yay!
The old network switch has been giving me problems too so I think I'll be popping out to MicroCenter for a replacement...
