Why Do Weekends Have to End?
Oct. 13th, 2008 09:36 amIt was a lovely, relaxing weekend in Cleveland.
We went with very little by way of scheduled activities so shifting from one venue to another and sorting through the local newspapers to see what was going on in town was all delightfully freeform. There was time to visit with the kids, to visit the West Side Market, to go see some historical films at Case Western University, to go on a community theatre-sponsored walking tour of Gordon Square, to visit a handful of fun restaurants and to spend time with friends. And particularly napping when we felt like it.
Even the trip home was nice: great weather, perfect driving conditions and colourful trees with fall foliage.
I'd like another several days to enjoy the weekend, please.
