'Cause I'm incredibly bored currently...
Everyone has things they blog about. Everyone has things they don't blog about. Challenge me out of my comfort zone by telling me something I don't blog about, but you'd like to hear about, and I'll write a post about it. Ask for anything: latest movie watched, last book read, political leanings, thoughts on Orlando drivers, favorite type of underwear, graphic techniques, etc. There's no obligation to repeat this on your own.

Comments are screened to protect the innocent, guilty and unindicted.

Remember this posting I made back in April after returning from a camping trip in West Virginia?

One of the folks mentioned, Sandy Holepit, found that entry! Better yet, she's just posted to my LJ that she's now Magistrate Sandy Holepit! She won the election! Fantastic!

Thanks to the heavy rains of the past few weeks, the water restrictions on central Maryland have been lifted. The pleasant side effect is that the car wash nearest my office is now open for business again so my Civic is shining right now!

This also means [livejournal.com profile] kent4str will make me take the Princessmobile to work next week 'cause it'll need a heavy scrubbing after we return from our camping weekend...

Tonight's club night calling went pretty well, I think. Some of the dancers who haven't been coming frequently flubbed a couple of simple calls (attempting 'spin the top' when I called 'fan the top') but these were fairly trivial and gave us all a good laugh.

Abe Feldman did well on his solo Plus tip, patter & singer. 'Spin chain the gears' went south on the floor but that says more about how infrequently our club dances it than Abe's calling. We have another caller workshop for him & Blaine of Pittsburgh for June 1 chez nous.

My final A2 tip was a hot hash which was pretty well received. I kept the choreo simple & flowing; the dancers kept up superbly. I was planning to finish up with a Plus tip but folks trickled out during the break so we didn't have a square left... perhaps my final A2 wasn't as well received as I thought. :-)
