I'm Vertical But Not Liking It
Apr. 8th, 2008 08:19 amI was off work yesterday with what appears to be a minor cold. The morning wasn't too bad, just heavy congestion. In the late afternoon, the ugliness moved up into my ears, triggering some very interesting but not unpleasant dizzy spells as well.
Despite it all, I drove downtown for our second-last Plus square dance class; since I had the sound system, staying at home wasn't really an option.
Towards the end of the night, I was feeling even more grim. At the earliest opportunity, I headed for bed, isolating myself in the smaller guestroom in the hope I don't pass along the plague to

This morning, I'm feeling largely back to normal. There's still some stuffiness and my energy level is low --probably from not eating much lately-- but I'm functional and at the office. I'll reserve the option of heading home early though if I need to.
