As mentioned here, we're uncles once again: my sister Angela and her hubby welcomed their second daughter in late January.

Last night, they finally sent photos. Say hi to our latest niece, Anna!

Monday: Teaching Plus for DC Lambda Squares
Tuesday: Dancing A2 with the Phantom 8s
Wednesday: Sleeping. Heavily.
Thursday: Calling Plus/A2 for DC Lambda Squares
Friday: [livejournal.com profile] kent4str calling A2 for Zig Zaggers
Sunday: DC Diamond Circulate (IAGSDC convention) planning meeting

I also need to get our CALLERLAB convention registrations mailed off (hotel is already booked), renew our CALLERLAB memberships and renew our newsletter subscription to our local square dance club association (WASCA).

Mike Jacobs liked the article written about DC Lambda Squares in the latest Metro Weekly, so much so that he grabbed a copy for the CALLERLAB archives. As the chair of ARTS, he's asked us to write a short article on how we managed to get out from under the hayseed hee-haw stereotype, bringing the reporters around to our more urban way of seeing square dancing. (Good thing I archived nearly all of those e-mails.)

And at some point this week, I hope to discuss a proposal wity a nearby hotel as a possible replacement for the Harper's Ferry Hoedown. Pray for me.
