A Day

We've been both busy and lazy today --and it's been a welcome change.

The entire household was up fairly early so that frauholla could get to his conference and cuyahogarvr's daughter could catch her late morning flight back to Charleston, SC.

Once everyone was on their way, we purchased a second quart of "heritage red" paint so we could do the second coat on the kitchen wall we started last week. Alas, the first store we visited was out so we were redirected to a different franchise in downtown Silver Spring. Returning home, cuyahogarvr and I painted the wall while kent4str napped, continuing his recovery from a mild cold.

While I'd like to say we were equally productive through the rest of the day, it wasn't so. I've spent much of the remaining afternoon reading, watching DVDs about the black death & dark ages, composing square dance choreo for an upcoming dance and generally goofing about.

Bed time soon and then tomorrow I get to do it all again (the goofing off, that is).
